Safe Agricultural Movement

LoCOS has been working jointly with this Safe Agriculture Movement Platform. A voluntary organization named Nirapad Krishi Andolan Mancho (Safe Agriculture Movement Platform) was formed in Khulna with the involvement of enthusiast youth activists for safe agriculture movement. The organization works to promote farmers’ freedom of cultivation, safety of farmers’ seeds through seed conservation, encouraging farmers to produce chemical fertilizers and poison-free vegetables, fruits and crops, while also conducting campaigns and taking multifaceted initiatives to ensure that farmers get fair price for safe vegetables and fruits.
