Moringa village

Moringa is a much nutrition enriched vegetable which keeps man free from different kinds of diseases. Moringa itself is a kind of saline tolerant vegetable. It has the capacity to adapt facing with the natural disaster risk and salinity. That is why in the coastal region, people cultivate Moringa as a part of planting different saline tolerant vegetables, fruity and woody plants. LoCOS took initiative and supported by MISEREOR-Germany under farmers led Agricultural Development Project. Jharbhanga village of Gangarampur Union is well-known as Moringa village.
